Mason is a dedicated student and aspiring Mechanical Engineer with a strong passion for manufacturing and design. His interest in the field began at a young age when he had the opportunity to visit a local tech center with his father. The experience of designing and engraving a keychain on a CNC mill left a lasting impression, igniting his curiosity about the world of manufacturing.

Currently, Mason is preparing to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, where he has also committed to playing college lacrosse. His academic journey has been shaped by extensive hands-on experience in precision machining, CAD/CAM design, and manufacturing processes. He has taken multiple CAD/CAM courses since his freshman year of high school and is currently enrolled in a Precision Machining class at a local tech center. As a standout student, Mason frequently assists his peers with projects and serves as a student ambassador for the program, helping to recruit new students and promote manufacturing within his community.

Beyond academics, Mason balances a rigorous schedule as a three-sport athlete while also working at Under Armour. Despite his demanding commitments, he has actively participated in job shadows at various West Michigan manufacturing companies, broadening his understanding of the industry. Additionally, he gives back to his community by coaching youth lacrosse and football, demonstrating his leadership and mentorship skills.

Mason’s long-term goal is to apply his engineering knowledge to innovate within the manufacturing industry. He sees engineering as a field that continuously evolves, and he is eager to contribute through design and production advancements. With his strong academic background, hands-on experience, and leadership skills, Mason is poised to make a meaningful impact in the world of mechanical engineering.
