As an aspiring production supervisor with a passion for innovation, culture building and driving sustainable results, William Bovee’s interest in manufacturing began in early 2019 during his time as an operations manager at Benteler Automotive. William worked in the stamping and welding department where he quickly immersed himself by learning the various steps in metal stamping and welding.

William currently works at Pridgeon & Clay as a manufacturing supervisor in the welded assembly's department. His career goal is to become an operations manager and drive continuous improvement at Pridgeon & Clay. He wants to help bridge the gap that exists between the production process and meeting manufacturing goals while also ensuring that products are not only functional, but also remain competitive for years to come.

William is part of the honors program at GRCC and Ferris State University, while also participating in the leadership scholars' program at Ferris State University. William also volunteers at FSU and at GRCC, creating a Manufacturing and Lean Group where he helps students grow in the field by learning lean principles and understanding manufacturing leadership.

William plans to graduate in May 2025, with a master’s degree in business from Ferris State University. As a leader at Pridgeon & Clay, he will continue to aim for manufacturing excellence.

Congratulations, William! You have a bright future ahead of you!
