Nathan Henderson has always loved to build things, know how they work and solve problems. When Nathan apprenticed in the machining industry for six months, he found that machining fit most of the things that he enjoyed. 

Nathan started working with his father at a young age in the landscaping business. This allowed him to learn how to work with people and take pride in his work. Nathan then had the opportunity to work in machining for six months and enjoyed gaining this experience. Nathan’s mentor at the company suggested he take the CNC tool making program at Saint Paul College to broaden his skillset.  

Nathan hopes to go back to work in the industry after finishing his diploma. He made the dean’s list for the first semester of CNC and tool making, and he is very excited for the opportunities that machining may bring him in the future.
