Landon Cole’s interest in engineering began in the 7th grade when his science teacher recognized his creativity and leadership skills and recommended him for STEM club. Through middle school and high school, he remained committed to engineering and planned on continuing his pursuit at Tennessee Tech and beyond. 

Landon’s prior achievements in engineering include crafting helpful items to engage in fun projects. He has created shelves, robots, circuits, pinball machines, tables and other creative projects, following the engineering design process. He hopes to continue creating projects that benefit others.  

Landon’s hard work and dedication has earned him a Summa Cum Laude graduation honor, as well as membership in the National Honors Society due to his high GPA. His career plan includes applying for numerous scholarships to support his education. He intends on finding a job near Tennessee Tech to gain work experience and establish a routine that balances timely completion of work with enjoying the benefits of college life.
