Emil Berube is a solution-driven individual with a passion for engineering, design and manufacturing. Currently, he works at Bristol Scoops, an ice cream shop in Bristol, where he has gained valuable experience in customer service, cleaning and maintenance. However, his true calling lies in the world of problem-solving and precision design.

With dual citizenship in the United States and Austria, Emil has had the unique opportunity to see different parts of the world and explore its vast possibilities. This exposure, combined with his natural curiosity, led him to seek a career that would both challenge and fulfill him. It was during his freshman year of high school that he discovered his passion for manufacturing through the engineering design process. The introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in his Intro-to-Engineering course was a turning point. The experience of designing a phone mount for a Subaru dashboard, tackling real-world design constraints and refining solutions ignited a deep fascination with the iterative nature of engineering.

Beyond the classroom, Emil has applied his problem-solving skills in hands-on projects. Working with his father’s AV company, he helped install cameras for a recycling station, using engineering principles to determine the optimal placement for network signal transmission. By applying mathematical concepts from his Engineering Statics class, he developed a practical solution that reinforced his passion for design and manufacturing.

Emil is now focused on pursuing a career in metalforming, where he can channel his love for problem-solving into a profession that never feels like work. His commitment to innovation, precision and continuous learning makes him a strong candidate for future success in the manufacturing industry.
