Jeremiah Colon is a dedicated and ambitious Tool Maker Pre-Apprentice at Hanwha Aerospace, where he is gaining hands-on experience in precision manufacturing. His passion for machining stems from a deep fascination with how things work, a curiosity that has driven him to excel in the field. At Hanwha Aerospace, he works alongside experienced professionals, developing his technical skills and understanding the critical role toolmaking plays in the aerospace industry.

Jeremiah thrives in an environment that demands accuracy, innovation and problem-solving. His work involves crafting intricate components and troubleshooting machining processes, ensuring that every tool meets the highest standards of precision and reliability. Through this experience, he has developed a keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.

Beyond his apprenticeship, Jeremiah is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of tradespeople. He has volunteered at his shop’s welcome night, helping introduce incoming freshmen to the world of manufacturing and machining. His willingness to guide and inspire others reflects his dedication to the field and his community.

Looking ahead, Jeremiah aims to expand his expertise in machining techniques, CNC programming, and tool design. He is seeking opportunities to further his education and invest in essential tools that will allow him to take on more complex projects. His ultimate goal is to become a skilled machinist or engineer, contributing to advancements in manufacturing while pushing the boundaries of innovation.
