Noah Budde is a dedicated Electrical Engineering student at Miami University, where he is pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree with aspirations to obtain a Master’s in the field. With a 3.97 GPA, he has been recognized on both the President’s and Dean’s lists, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence. His passion for engineering began in high school, where he took specialized courses in hand drafting, woodworking and engineering problem-solving, solidifying his interest in electrical systems and design.

Currently, Noah is an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Nidec Minster Corporation, where he applies his technical skills using EPLAN CAD software to produce change orders for active projects. His role involves collaborating closely with full-time engineers, updating documentation using SAP, and participating in training sessions to expand his knowledge of control systems and metal stamping processes. Toward the end of his internship, he was entrusted with overseeing and creating electrical prints for a container industry press, demonstrating his growing expertise and responsibility within the company.

Beyond his co-op experience, Noah is actively involved on campus as a member of IEEE, the Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF) and the Scholar Leaders Program. Through IEEE, he has honed practical engineering skills, including soldering, coding and circuitry design. His leadership in MUSF and Scholar Leaders has allowed him to contribute to campus life by organizing student-focused events, leading alumni relations initiatives, and guiding university faculty and board members during key events.

Noah’s long-term career goals include specializing in controls and automation, particularly within the metalforming industry. After completing his undergraduate studies, he plans to pursue either a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or an MBA, with the goal of advancing into a management-level position.
