Alexander Koch is an aspiring young engineer and student. With an extensive background in volunteer work and extra-curriculars, Alexander has a passion for STEM and dedication to improving his knowledge and experience. His interest in math and science led him to join the VEX Robotics group at his high school. During his time with VEX Robotics, Alexander earned several awards for his robotics work such as skills champion awards and tournament championships, as well as four Amaze awards. He also excelled in competitions, having the opportunity to take his robotics to the world championships twice and achieving world quarterfinalist status out of over 800 teams.

In April 2024, Alexander organized the VEX Robotics booth at the PMA Cleveland’s Suppliers Night, where he had the opportunity to learn more about manufacturing and the career opportunities available to him in the manufacturing industry. This event gave him the chance to speak with several businesses and learn more about their individual products and services. Learning a lot from his time at PMA’s Suppliers Night, Alexander looks forward to a career in metalforming and working for a company that makes interesting products.

Having been accepted to Bowling Green State University, Alexander plans to major in engineering. He is excited to begin his career in manufacturing and looks forward to the opportunity to shape the metalforming industry and work innovatively with leading manufacturing companies.
