As Charles Meadows watched his uncle weld a hinge onto a door, his uncle looked over and said to him “your turn.” That opportunity sparked Charles’ infatuation with welding, and he cannot wait to begin his journey. Since there is a scarcity of tradespeople in today’s workforce, Charles intends to use the skills and knowledge he has learned at Hobart Welding Institute to help fill the gaps in the workforce today.
Charles chose the Hobart Welding Institute for its highly personalized class structure and pathways program, allowing him to study the specific field that would best prepare him for his future.
Charles has dedicated his professional journey so far to the Itasca Illinois Park District, gaining diverse experience and honing a variety of skills. His experience in customer service and responsibility has laid a solid foundation for his work ethic and commitment.
During Charles’ role within the park district doing park maintenance, he discovered a passion for physically demanding work. This position provided Charles the opportunity to engage in hands-on tasks, while also cultivating a deep appreciation for the value of perseverance and seeing projects through to completion.
As Charles pursues new opportunities in manufacturing, he brings with him a wealth of experiences and a proven track record of perseverance and commitment.
Congratulations, Charles! We wish you the best of luck on your professional journey!
