NISSAN CANTON
For more than 20 years, the Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant team has been assembling quality, award-winning vehicles for customers. The plant’s opening in 2003 brought automotive production to Mississippi for the first time and has since become a force for economic development across the state.
TOUR INFORMATION
The plant is located at 300 Nissan Drive, Canton, MS 39046. Upon your arrival, please pull into Gate 3 and park in the designated lot to your left. Place a copy of your tour reservation confirmation visible inside of your vehicle windshield. Leave all cameras and cell phones in your vehicle.
At the main lobby doors, you will need to press the intercom button located to the left of the doors and identify yourself to security. Security will then allow you access into the lobby and you will sign the visitor book, receive a visitor’s badge, and wait on designated tour guide.
Once the tour begins, participants are expected to always remain seated on the tram until the tour is complete. The tour will last for about 45 minutes. Anyone with a condition that would be impacted by electrical machinery may be prohibited from the tour.
Tour guests will have the ability to purchase souvenirs in the company store. Purchases can be made using a debit or credit card only.
Safety Information
- For safety reasons, children under 10 are not permitted on the tour
- Wear closed-toe and closed-back shoes (flip-flops or sandals are not permitted on the tour)
- Long pants are required
- You must wear shirts with at least a 4-inch sleeve
Directions:
If coming from South direction through Jackson, Mississippi: If traveling North, take the I-20 exit continuing I-55 North. Continue traveling north on I-55 to exit 114 (Sowell Road Exit). Turn right onto Sowell Road. At the traffic light turn left onto Nissan Drive. Go through the next traffic signal. After you pass Gate 4 you will make a right at the main entrance with flagpole and red titles. You will park in the parking lot to your left.
Directions to Nissan from Memphis (I-55 Traveling Southbound): Take I-55 South, take the Nissan Parkway (East) exit 118 and travel around the loop to the Parkway heading east. At the traffic signal turn right onto Nissan Drive. Pass through two traffic lights on Nissan Drive. Take a left after second traffic light. Turn left at the main entrance with flagpole and red titles. You will park in the parking lot to your left.
