The OSHA for Mechanical Power Presses Seminar will address the history of OSHA's development, what is needed to meet or exceed your obligation to safeguard your machines, and how to add value without compromising worker safety.

This seminar will illustrate different compliance methods.

We will show you different styles of machines and their different requirements related to regulations and standards for control reliability and safety devices and describe the various types of controls and safety devices.

INSTRUCTOR

Dean Phillips DTM, Director of Technical Training, Precision Metalforming Association
Dean Dean Phillips has spent 37 years in the metalforming and fabricating industry and currently serves as PMA’s director of technical training. Prior to this, he was heavily involved with PMA as an advisor to the fabrication and safety committees and served as a Tennessee District officer since 2002.
Dean designs training modules to improve manufacturing competitiveness through employee development and training.
He is an expert in IIoT and a strategist for AI-based systems, as well as a metal fabrication expert, having designed press brakes and trained hundreds of companies. Dean also is the host and producer of PMA's “Destiny of Manufacturing” podcast.
