PMA Twin Cities: Ryerson Plant Tour

Join the PMA Twin Cities District on September 7 in Plymouth, MN, for a plant tour of Ryerson. Ryerson has more than 175 years of experience and more than 70,000 products. The company has approximately 100 locations throughout North America and beyond, with an extensive range of processing and fabrication capabilities. Ryerson is committed to delivering quality products and service, which is achieved by implementing quality standards, providing safety information, and complying with policies that promote best business practices. 

Ryerson is a full-line service center offering:

  • Sheet
  • Plate
  • Bar
  • Tube
  • And structural products.

Ryerson's Plymouth, MN, location warehouses mostly carbon steel, while its Coon Rapids, MN facility offers nonferrous products.

During the tour, you will see the extensive inventory supplied by Ryerson, sheet and coil processing, bar and tube processing, and plate processing.

Ryerson is always looking to becoming more efficient. Ryerson Plymouth is piloting Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) with the idea to expand the systems to other locations across the country.

PPE Required: Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes. Ryerson will provide arm guards and hard hats if needed.
