South Carolina Funding Options

The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program is designed to allow employers to hire, train, and retain employees in full-time permanent jobs. One of the many advantages of utilizing the SC Works Centers’ OJT program is that if desired, WorkKeys profiling of the open position will be conducted at no charge. We’ll also pre-screen applicants and arrange interviews. Once you make your hiring selection, an OJT contract will be negotiated that will pay up to 50% of your new employee’s hourly wage. Contact your SC Works center for more details and funding availability.
